png2xp2 is a grayscale 256-shade PNG image to xp2 XPilot map format converter. XPilot is a classic multi-player 2D spacewar game (check http://www.xpilot.org and http://xpilot.sourceforge.net for more information).
The program uses libpng for low-level operations on PNG files. RGB images are supported and converted to grayscale ASAP.
